Netgear switch value ?

    hey guys,

    I came upon an unused Netgear 18 port gigabit ethernet switch, with 32meg onboard and I was just wonder could anyone tell me how much it would be worth?

    Specs are on link below, but mine is a model up with 2 optical ports.

    Its cool but I dont really need something with this much power.
    Anyone with an idea of a possible selling price?

    use ebay to search for 'completed items'. You need to register with them and sign in to do this though. Anyway, it gives a good idea of what an item is really worth (-the profiteering -the inflated irish prices).

    it's a bit exotic so there are no listings of it on ebay unfortunately. Closest I can find is a 3com 3300 24port 100Mbs with 1Gb uplinks, so 8 more ports than yours, not too different, going for around 110 stg:
