    Arrrrrgghh!!!... LOL! biggrin.gif

The song was 'Rock Me Baby' and a quick web search tells me it was sung by "Riva", the Yugoslav entry and WINNERS (ba$tards!) in the 1989 Eurovision Song Contest, and damn, but do I remember it well... simply because of how you and I acted like complete twits when the song came on (well... we WERE kids...).

It just HAD to win, didn't it? rolleyes.gif

Does anyone actually care what anyone else's favourite song of all time is (or indeed a long list of songs that they like [all the songs they've ever heard perhaps. Sometimes appears so]) or is this just an excuse to tell other people what YOU like? For me, I am taking this as an opportunity for the latter:

    Van Morrison - Sweet Thing
    Terry Callier - Ordinary Joe
John Coltrane - My Favourite Things
Nina Simone('s version of Leonard Cohen's) - Suzanne

These are all that my access to my memory allows at the moment and do not expect an update at any later date.

Talking Heads - This Must Be The Place (Naive Melody)

Smashing Pumpkins - Tonight tonight + To Sheila

Elliot Smith - Between the Bars

Pixies - Gouge Away, Where is My Mind?

Van Morrison - The Way Young Lovers Do (in fact I love his whole first album)

Nick Cave - Are you the one that I've been waiting for?

Boo Radleys - Lazarus (I don't like them except for this song)

Radiohead - Let Down, The Tourist

    Violent Femmes - Good Feeling

U2 - Running to Stand Still

Sebadoh - Think (Let Tomorrow Be)

    Jeff Buckley - Hallelujah

    REM - Find the River

Afghan Whigs - Brother Woodrow Closing Prayer

I could probably go on forever but there's just a sample for yous
