    What decent sound recording software is there out there?

    Nothing too fancy, I just want to record some guitar at half decent quaility.

    My m8's a sound engineer and he swears by a programme called "cuebase". Qualities great on it and it has loadsa extra features too. It's fairly pricey if u buy i legit tho, bout #200 or so :/

    mind u, im sure there are demo versions and the like which can be down loaded.

    CueBase is the best...steep learning curve but all the joys of professional sound recording if you can get your head around it. Has lots of excellent features, including all the effects you'll ever need and be already used to from guitar effects units with a range of plugins for the program.

    Cuebase is the most popular package used, will get copy from brother and pass along to you, mail me eofar@hotmail and ill give you a bell when i get it if you want as only down the road from you (Straffan).

    I hope they catch me too. If I have to carry this appendix around for one more day I'll be very ill. It's beginning to change colour and the odour is extremely unpleasant.
