Just seen my first Green Ripwave Light ?

    This ripwave does work after all ...!

    Happy days ..I am testing my ripwave modem away from my city center base ..( Pearse Street ) ...and am now seeing yellow - green ,,in Blanchardstown (Glenville) of basestation 170 ....(my unit must be setup to roam)

    Looks like I will be doing some heavy downloading this weekend.. as I am now getting 45 - 50kbs and the odd green flash .... :)

    In town I only get 10 - 20 kbs ...looks like ripwave liks the suburbs and not the city !

    Its good to heard someone has got a GREEN LIGHT. How high is the RIPWAVE modem and do you have problems with it disconnecting...
