    Hi all,

I am trying to setup my home pc as a web server but am getting a connection refused error when trying to access it remotely. Here are all the details.

Im using Apache and PHP and can confirm the site runs properly when accessed locally (localhost).

I have configured the Netopia router supplied by Eircom as follows:

Changed the Netopia internal web server port from 80 to 8080

Set up an IP pinhole on the router to forward all port 80 requests on to the PC port 80 (i.e. the web server).

When I use the visual tracert tool on http://msv.dk it finds the web server but says port 80 is being rejected.

I dont have any firewall software running as yet.

Anyone offer any guidelines or tips ??

    Further info...

When I use the port scanner utility on http://msv.dk, it confirms that port 80 is OPEN...
