Wallpapers

If I go to let's say O2's portal and spend €3 on a wallpaper, is that just a link to an image that I will download and then set as a wallpaper? Or is there some automated way of getting it to the phone? If not, why would I just not pick any ol' image on the internet use that as a wallpaper?

Of course - the cleverer the phone the more ways there will be to get a wallpaper onto it. A more basic phone might only be able to get wallpapers sent by an operator or ringtone merchant.
