    Hi,
    Would anyone know where you can join a womans beginners/intermediate basketball team in southside Dublin? I havent played in a few years and would like to try get back playing.

    Hi, you could contact the Dublin Ladies board who will put you in contact with a club ( ieve put their details below). Alternatively you can post your question on the streetballireland.com message board and im sure somebody will recomend a club plenty of ladies playing in dublin post there.



    Dublin - Women Area Board
    The Dublin Ladies Basketball Board (DLBB) was established in 1967 with the aim of promoting and developing women's basketball in the Dublin area.

    There are 56 clubs registered for 2001/2002 catering for both senior and underage players. During the 2001/2002 season the DLBB will administer twenty-three leagues, nine championship competitions and two under-age tournaments. They will also provide courses in coaching, refereeing and table officiating. At the end of this season the DLBB will be awarding one coaching scholarship and two player improvement scholarships for basketball camps within Ireland…more details to follow!
