i know this is possible with an itrip fm adaptor, but this isnt out for the nano yet, so i need some cable or attachment that will allow me to connect my ipod to a standard car stereo (no cd player). Is there a tape attachment or anything, or what is the best solution?
    thanks

ps...posted this here and on gadgets, as didnt know which was the best place for it.

You can get tape units for about €10. They are really crap...

Have a look at this thread for aux inputs on car stereos

They're actually not the worst. Got one for the g/f and it may not be CD quality, but it is better than radio, and a mile better than the FM transmitter things (mine was an absolute pile of poo :( ). You wouldn't want to use it if you like the volume high, but for normal listening, it is good enough.

Cool, that looks slick. Still boils down to hardwiring, or an FM transmitter though.

    ???
Only a power cable and an output cable .. apart from 'hardwiring' or FM Transmitter the only real opion is to use the cassette adaptor?

Sorry, I just meant that the HK in your link still requires an FM transmitter or a hardwired link to the car stereo.
