Universal Commercial Code

Should a Universal Commercial code based on existing caselaw be implemented by statute in a united Ireland.

It seems to be that this could turn us into a 32 county interntional legal and arbitration centre in the way that the IFSC created the financial services boom.

Our law is similar to English law which is the universal standard, but codification would make it easy for foreign lawyers to predict what the courts would do in resolving disputes, thus Irish law would be specified in contracts and the gravy train would roll forever.
