Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    electricity presents:

    Electric Shock

    ***Doors Open 9PM****

The T.Raumschmiere Band - FULL LIVE SHOW [Novamute - Berlin]
David Carretta [Space Factory / Gigolo - Marseille]
    Dancepig - Live [Space Factory]
    thatboytim [Takeover Records]
    Eddie Brennan [Electric City]

    Bar: EC FM

So, it's hard going out on Thursday...you've got work the next day, you've
got Eastenders on the box, your mates don't fancy it, etc. Electric City
take on board all considerations so we have decided to jolt our Electric
Shock parties into life with an absolute monster heavyweight line-up that
will take the weekly club vibe to the Music Centre in Temple Bar for a
rocking Saturday night fever. We've got the incendiary T.Raumschmiere Band
ready to Blitzkrieg the Pop bitches with Marco (T.Raumschmiere) on vocals,
Dirk on drums, Andreas on bass and the amazing Allert with a monster visual
show to drive you trucking crazy. This is the point where rock, punk and
electro meet in a Westies-approved bar and make a run for it to the Costa
del Crime. Over the past two years the T.Raumschmiere band have toured
extensively all over Europe, launched their Blitzkrieg Pop album at Fabric
and will be headlining at I Love Techno before their devastating debut
performance here in Ireland. www.t.raumschmiere.com for further
    information.

Out of the debris and chaos of the band, the gauntlet will be taken on by
the sleazy International Deejay Gigolo, David Carretta. This French
electro-techno maestro has been a mainstay of Gigolo and was the man behind
the very first release on the label back in 1996. His sound is still suited
to the influential Munich label with his latest release 'Kill Your Radio'
being played by the likes of Inspired by Depeche Mode, New Order, Throbbing
Grittle, Cabaret Voltaire, Front 242, Kraftwerk, New Beat and Acid-House.
Carretta has pushed his take on this sound through Gigolo and his own
recently started Space Factory label. Whether it's with solo work or
collaborating with Chicks on Speed, Steve Bug, The Hacker and DJ Hell this
suave French Connection has put his own stamp on the world of electro and
techno with a series of killer releases through the years. We are happy to
give a platform to Monsieur Carretta for his first ever appearance here in
    Ireland. www.davidcarretta.com for further info.

A MonsterTruck of a line-up indeed, this night will also play host to the
all singing fake money-throwing Dancepig who recently rocked the Electric
City dancefloor at Traffic with a sound live show before the good Doctor
Lektroluv. Also on the bill we have thatboytim from the Takeover cartel who
will rock the dirty grimy underbelly of electro, 2-step, ghetto, Chicago and
to get the party started we have Electric City regular Eddie Brennan with a
    set of ubertastic techno.

Visuals on the night will be running across the 3 screens with the amazing
Allert providing a unique show for the T.Raumschmiere band while Invisible
Agent will be sandwiching their optical delights across the rest of the
    night.

Tax for this event is a modest e20 which is Eddie Hobbs - approved in value
for a band performance [no laptops here only for visuals] from the
T.Raumschmiere Band and International Deejay Gigolo David Carretta. Doors
open at 9pm for this monster monster line up with the T.Raumschmiere band on
stage before 11pm. To celebrate this early opening our good friends at Tiger
Beer have given us 50 free bottles for the first 50 people through the
    doors.

Tickets are available from Selectah Records, Crow Street, Temple Bar and
    online from www.tickets.ie.
