BEUC* has launched an initiative to try and redress the balance that has become so out of whack between what large music and content business would like us to believe about digital content (and its uses and ownership) and the real rights of people (sure, they call them consumers, which is a very annoying term, but wtf).

They have lauched a campaign to create a sort of charter of digital rights, which is worth a look...

    * BEUC, the European Consumers' Organisation, is the Brussels based federation of 40 independent national consumer organisations from the EU, accession and EEA countries.
