@goldwing is that the 3.3 one how much did it cost?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 252 ✭✭goldwing

I bought it when I was in america about a week and a half ago it cost $520 which is about E411

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,149 ✭✭✭BFassassin

did customs not get you when you brought it in
    whats it like
thats cheaper than the 2.5 on modelsport

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 252 ✭✭goldwing

you dont have to pay customs whe you bring it into the country yourself, you will have to if you buy it over the internet, if you had relations over there you could get them to send it to you and customs can't catch you that way either.

Looking pretty sweet dude! WAY too clean for my liking tho !!!!! I'm hoping my new exhaust arrives tomorrow. What's the deal with the tubing on the exhaust outlet? have you run it yet ?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 840 ✭✭✭stephenmarr

hey the tubing is an exhaust deflector it deflects the exhaust fumes away from the truck so theres very little build up of gunk on the body

its clean as its just being rebuilt. the one way stripped on me so when i was waiting for parts i cleaned it, and painted the wheels, hopefully have it out at the weekend.

Sorry I should have been clearer, I meant does the tube effect the running of the engine at all ? I put a small on on my savage one time and it almost cut the engine out. Though it wasn't a HPI one. I would like one tho, the truck gets filthy after a run with the crap that emits from the exhaust.

not that im aware the next time i run it i will remove it after a while see if it makes any difference
