Guys shaving "down there"

Regular user but going unregistered for this one as some people know my name here!

What do women think of guys who shave their manhood? I shave my balls and trim above and just leave a very small amount of hair. Ive only ever had my ex-girlfriend see me like this and the first time she saw it she was a bit "meh", but after that she grew to love it. Now that i'm single i'm just wondering what other girls think of it?

And lads who do it? What do you find is the best way of doing it? Just looking for some tips and points

That's a very rare thing to do in Ireland, so don't be suprised if you raise a few eyebrows.

But apparently it's all the range over in the US. Ladies love it. And apparently it has the effect of making genitalia look bigger.

Trimmed is good, just to keep the pubic hairs from infesting the back of your throat. I'm not too sure if I'd like to see a completely bald one though

Would def prefer if all guys kept it trimmed not bald but definitely neater than growing wild as the rumor is true its makes penises look much bigger:D

Bald all the way, it's much nicer.

Philips Body Groom does the job great but can be a bit tricky if you want to get the sac completly bald. If it's your first time, just use a scissors to trim it back. It's like shaving anywhere else, you find it easier after the first few times. Just in case your thinking about it don't use a normal razor, the skin is way too thin if you nick it at all, you'll know about it.

Use a bit of talc every morning after you shave as pubes are there to wick away sweat.

Yeah, I do it myself, best way is to do blade 3 on the pubes if you have a hair razor, and do the sac and shaft etc with a normal razor in the shower.It's easy if you're careful.

I trim with a scissors. Shave the hair froma round the base. My g/f likes it that way. I prefer her shaved as well as theres nothing worse than a mouthful of pubes when you go down on a woman.

i was bein smart holy lord...i don't see the appeal of it physically,aesthetically or hygenically(is that even a word)...i think it looks better when there s no pubes in the way both on myself and on my gf and its much cleaner so thats a definate plus

I also see it as a trend. It's obvious. If you look back a few years, this was not even a debate-topic. It was regarded as natural. And so it was in the Renaissance and longer back in time. It's "apparent" to so many people that shaving is the right thing because "everybody says so". And there the lovely "everybody" comes in.

By the way, cockextension is one of the most tragic things ever.
It's derived from the false impression that all women care about size. Few do actually. Those who do I would say are shallow women.

And jcoote, there comes the thing about shaving making you look "cleaner", as if it is unclean/dirty to not shave. Another aspect of this see-no-longer-than-the-nosetip-trend. :rolleyes:

I think the reasons for it are practical more so than fashionable. No one likes getting pubes stuck in their teeth.

tbh i am a fan of vaginas and i think it is much more plesent when they are shaven..it is an american porno fantasy thing but i don't see any problem with that or any setbacks in the actual shaving process for any single person so why the hell not!!!
