Here's a how to for adding images i done ages ago: http://www.e30owners.com/forums/showpost.php?p=22303&postcount=2 different site i know but the same applies

Only thing I would add to that is to resize the photo's you want to upload on your pc first. You can use something like Irfanview which is easy enough to use or Irfanview which isn't as straight forward but gives more options. Make sure when resizing your photo's you use a temp folder for saving the resized images or you might risk over writing your original files (I like to keep my original high res pics)

Imageshack will resize the images when you tell it to do so in the dialogue where you upload your photo's.

By resizing the images uploading will be faster because of the smaller files sizes, as a result of lowering the resolution. Resolution of 800*600 or 1024*768 is a nice happy medium between the size of an image and how long it takes to load up in the forums. Off course you can also attach images to your post, resizing will upload/download them quicker.

Hope that can be of some help to get more photos up :D

First car I ever owned was a white Fiat 850. Went all around the country in it at 196 pounds a year fully comp insurance from the PMPA. Remember them? Say no more! It was written off by a drunk driver, head on crash, totally destroyed but I walked away with bruised ribs! Fond memories and mixed emotions. Lovely example and good luck with it.

Like others have said, its not a classic in the strictest sense, but to me it will always be a classic.

    What was its reg?

dont mean to put down anyones car but the beige kadette c seems to be some rust on the lower front panel indicator lens broken and wing aerial missing ?

cannot remember, but the car was green, lightish green ,not too common a colour i think. I know where it came from, i note you are in tralee, .my nephew drove it from tralee, 250 miles ,so it was a good car, just deemed worthless at the time.

Are you for real bud? Rust is surface rust (original 1979 paint).
Indicator is not broken, they are German clear indicator lenses.
Aerial is removed and a rubber blanking grommet placed in the hole.
I can take constructive critisicism but jealous nitpickers I usually ignore, but to make comments like that on a forum that I have just joined dosen't make it very inviting.

Sorry to hear that, these Kadett SR's are very rare on the roads.
According to Total Vauxhall magazine there is only 1 on the road in UK, 7 in Germany and I'm sure I can say this is the only 1 on the road in Ireland, although I would be happy to hear of another:)

E4k will buy the crewcab. No offers needs some restoration but totally solid underneath easy project and a rare very practical classic to own. I have acquired a split screen crew cab.
