Always loved them, used to watch Magnum P.I. just to see it, I think they were marketed as an Audi 5000 in the states. There used to be a dark green one around Cork a few years ago, 200HZB or something IIRC.

Wow, nice Audi, whats the plans for it? Standard or modified?
Looks like all it needs is a good clean and polish.

    It will be completely standard
It's in fantastic condition considering it hasn't been touched in 6 years, I was amazed.
No welding needed which is a bonus, the interior is near mint and its running. the bumpers need rechroming and it will get a full mechanical overhaul.
    And a major clean!

    Another MK4 Escort.
Always loved the things, fairly straight but the cold snap has taken its toll.
    Poor heater matrix :(.
    Mynewcombi003.jpg

Not really into its classic status, rare enough over here though.

The Max Power clan aint getting this one.

anyone remember a comic annual that carried the story of the mark 4 development? Battle, Victor or something. I remember reading it. Don't want to offend anyone but always hated the escort, a car from when Ford named it's cars after porn mags; Fiesta, Escort, I was waiting for the Ford Big 'Uns! We had a mark 1 cortina; cream with red vinyl, a mark 3; daytona yellow with black vinyl top, a blue mark 4. Back then a classic was something you only saw on TV, RTE 1 only. Jags, yank tanks and the vets car, a merc

In Fordspeak yes, but even the Mk2 Fiesta wasn't really. Its just a facelifted Mk3. Was there a huge difference on the Mk4 apart from the dash and trim?
