Saw this today, wouldn't be my cup of tea but i'm sure someone might be interested, it's at a small garage near Riverstick on the Kinsale road.

:)Just thought you might like to see my Triumph. Its from 1973 and if anyone has any info on the car I wouldn't mind knowing about it, or maybe someone may have seen it around please in the past, let me know. I hope to restore this one and will be looking for any new old stock spares for this car too.

    Thanks.

^ Very nice! It's hard enough to find Corsa A's / Nova's now, especially the earlier pre-facelift ones.

  • Registered Users Posts: 22,080 ✭✭✭✭Big Nasty

^^^Not a fan in any shape or form but that is one clean looking car for its age!:)

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 2,412 ✭✭✭andyseadog

thanks lads, im not the biggest fan of it either, it was heading straight for the scrappers when i found it and it was too good to let go, i felt sorry for it :).

i had the two front wings repaired due to rot, and the rest of the car blown in to match so its looking reasonably fresh.

3 owners from new before me, a mother, her son and the sons daughter :P 75k from new with opel service history. hasn't been on the road since 07, gathering dust somewhat now.

    Well done on saving it,
I have no real love for most 80's stuff, but these are the next generation of classic cars and some must be saved:).
