    Hey i know this is probably not the place to ask but does anybody know how to set up a credit card payment thingy on a website and how much it costs to maintain etc etc

    Also consider Paypal.
    The choice of provider largely depends on how much you are planning on sellingand your abilities to integrate it into your site.

    Realex are excellent

    Costs - two parts usually
    1 part - the fees you pay the processor such as Realex.
    2nd part - the fees you pay the bank

    The best way to work it all out is to talk to your bank and explain what you are doing and what you would like to be able to do. If they prove unhelpful talk to Realex and ask them for advice
