Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Wow, how you meet all them?

The McLaren team & King Juan Carlos - I spent the weekend with them about 6 years ago at Barcelona as a guest of Computer Associates...

Bands & Musicians are always through various contacts at labels who I've been doing promo work for for a number of years & arranged to meet at gigs etc...

Rugby players from various personal appearances & being cheeky enough to "invade the pitch" after games.. & also through family contacts

Jeremy Clarkson & jenson Button I met at the Monaco F1 Grand Prix last year while walking around the pits...

Novelty wears off after a while.....

    (excuse my spelling)
The guy who likes the brown sause in intermission, he was in 28 days later, cant remember his name.

Wasn't that Killian Murphy? Also seen recently in Red Eye.

I once stood shoulder to shoulder with Michael Jackson, didn't even know it was him until the body guards started approaching me from all angles. In fact I was paying absolutely no attention to him what-so-ever, those guys were agressive. That was in 2000, in a computer outlet shop on Fifth Avenue in New York, during the same trip also greeted the Corrs who were performing on the Good Morning America show.

I know that Holly will be envious, but I've also met and greeted A-ha. No one else will care, but there you go.

I've met lots of famous people. There is a radio ad at the moment talking about Ronnie Delaney, who won Olympic gold for Ireland in Melbourne in 1956 in the 1500 metres. That was before my time but I did meet him once. I was just thinking about it this morning when that ad was on again.

I met a few people when I was in LA, but the only famous person that I met here was Ray D'arcy when I was in TodayFM getting a grand tour.

In LA there was some of the guys from Desperate Housewives, the OC, StarGate SG1 and 24. They were working in Universal Studios. I also saw the black guy from Terminator 2, he was the one that designed the chips based on the CPU recovered from the first Terminator. He was nearly killed by John Connors mother. He was outside the Chinese Theater on Hollywood Blvd when we were there looking at the footprints of all the actors.

    NEVER!

I've met her (in the old fashioned sense of the word :( ) before. She's unbelievably hot in person.

I also met Richie "Aon focal, dha focail" Kavanagh in the Blanch Centre where he was making the video for his follow-up single. Something to do with a mobile phone, anybody?

Met some of Bell X1 there a few weeks back. Stood next to John Malcovich in a queue but didnt wanna look totally psycho so just kept nudging my sis to show her, and then pretending not to recognise him. Same story with Sir Macca, sat near him at a concert in London recently. I once touched Bruce Willis' tee-shirt as well. He threw it out of the window in Planet Hollywood Leicester Sq, and I caught it, but then I was pounced on by crazy girls and the tee-shirt ended up in tiny shreds. boo.
