Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Had a kick around with woody harrelson and then went drinking with him in Galway. Met up with him later on, on a night out and he was wearing a skin tight orange dress, his wife was with us too, she was wearing a wedding dress. (crazy ass club night in galway) On the same night I got smacked in the head by alicia silverstone while I was talking to woody, that was pretty wierd.

They were all over visiting Tom green and Drew Barrymore after their honeymoon.

I also met elijah wood (Frodo) while having a pint in Galway a few months back.

I have a picture of the back of Neil Hannon's head on my phone. And I met Al Murray at the weekend after his gig. That's about it. The rest are folk who I wouldn't exactly class as famous but who are professional entertainers.

2 people who I have had drink with in past are Shaquille O'Neal in Miami and Ian Brown(stone roses) in Oldham. Both sound out at time.

Interviewed Shinzo Abe who was Prime Minister of Japan and Shimon Peres President of Israel in past in my last job.

Chatted to few footballers in past and few others, but those 4 mentioned were ones where least had 5 minute+ conversation.

Class. What the hell were you talking about with him?

Surely his seat was made from reinforced steel or something. He must be massive in real life.

Why people willingly accept that they are not as good as people that they see on the tv i will never know

Had a convo with my cousin the other day. She loves jedward and went to stand outside somewhere that they were going (not even going to a concert) in the hope that she would see them

She willingly accepted that they were 'better' than her. I spend the next 10 mins telling her otherwise. I mean if you walked past them before x-factor you wouldn't have looked twice at them.

It is the same with most 'famous people'. They begin to think that they are 'better' than everyone else becouse of the red carpet treatment that they get and mindless people idolising them.

I have nothing against the people themselves and not trying to put down anyones achivements but they are the exact same as you. Yes there achievements should be achnolaged but when you see the likes of kate and willims wedding (just picking an example out of my head. There is loads) and the amount of people that just turned up. It is stupid. I dont get it.

    *waits to come under fire*

ssssooo famous people. Well i have 'met' my mammy and my daddy and my brother and my friends and my family and my...ect.... I dont care if you dont think they are 'good' enough to be called famous. They are in my eyes and that is all that matters in my opinion

Unreal. Some stroke of luck that you were in the same pub as him.

He's one person I'd love to meet just to size myself up against him. I'm a foot smaller than him and I weigh 100 kg less than him. I reckon I could take him in a fight :pac:.

He's actually a real smart guy. He has his bachelor's, which he completed while playing for the Lakers. Then in '05 he got a masters in business admin. And finally this year he graduated with a Doctorate of Education in Human Resource Development. Supposedly he wants to continue on and go to law school as well.

I think it's amazing that he wants to continue on that path. I mean he has 250 million. 99% of other people would just retire and spend the rest of their time flying around the world. Fair play to him.

Ya pure luck. I mean even the area we were in is not noted for Celebs been seen much. Just ordinary bar.

Never knew that about his education. Very interesting.

    That makes it even better.

Yea he's big on his education. It's one of the aspects of the NBA/NFL college requirement thing that I like. Everyone comes out with a degree (unless you're LeBron) and that sets them up for the rest of their life then. It's a much better system than in England with the football. Most footballers career prospects after they finish are all in the area of punditry. It's sad really.

Here's a video of him graduating a few months ago. He is so big.

Who gives a fiddlers who met who ? I am more interested in stories about what famous people are really like - I have a friend who spent several hours in the company of Billy Connolly - he said Connolly was the meanest cnut he ever met and wouldn't buy a drink to save his life.
