Personally i dont like blaupunkt,i find there stuff kinda cheap feeling.not great quality and not good on features.

Id be more inclined to go for Alpine/Pioneer/Sony,there should be a headunit from each of the above in or below your price range with the features you want.

    http://www.pioneer.co.uk/uk/product_detail.jsp?product_id=9929&taxonomy_id=25-121 113E

Also shop around when it comes to Headunits, there's big difference's in prices

id recommend something with a line-in on it. you might as well future proof just in case you decide to use an mp3 player in car.

    just a thought...

sorry, just saw the spec. it has got a line in, supports id3 and vbr. blaupunkt are quality products and ive never had any problems with them. (had them in my last 2 cars).

€200 is a good price for a blaupunkt.

For best quality with an IPOD, get a head unit with IPOD controller - I got this one:
    Alpine CDA9847R and also
    KCA-420i Alpine iPod Interface.

I don't know much about this kind of thing though so go by my advice, but I'm happy with this setup - great quality.

Yes you plug a phono from the aux of the radio with a jack on the other end into your ipod.200 is also expensive for that unit www.caraudiosecurity.com have it for 150,postage is about 10e

you could also go the fm modulator route instead of getting a new stereo.

plugs into the fm arial input and works off that. iTrips are pretty bad quality, but the modulators are perfect. youll get one for about 30 euros in maplin.

kind of difficult to install if your unfamilar with car audio electronics.
