Broadband in Cork City

    They're 5 of us sharing a house in Cork City. Looking to get broadband connection. Not looking for a 12 month contract (i.e. Smart). Three of us have laptops and the other two PC's. We've a phone line in the house. Any ideas?

    Make an informed decision by looking at this site: http://www.broadband.gov.ie/bbinfo/home.aspx Click on the "Services by location" button to see what provider is available to you.

    To get 5 sharing, all you need is at least one of the laptops to have a wireless capability and a wireless router with 4 Fastethernet ports for the other laptop/PCs.

    Don't quote me but I think Eircom's min contract is 6 months.
