Stupid question that has probably been answered a thousand times! Anyone know if you replace an iPod battery will you lose your songs?

When you turn your computer off, the files are still there when you turn it on again. Same deal.

Thanks, I know they'd still be on the computer, just wondering if they'd be wiped from the iPod.

No, what I meant was - your ipod acts the same way as your computer does. They work by saving to the hard drive, which doesn't need power to store information on, just read and write data to and from it.
