    Burning throat?

    Ok, since I was a wee teenager, I got a burning sensation in my throat if I drank too much fizzy drinks etc (basically anything acidic). Now I drank lots of fizzy drinks as a kid, LOTS!!!

    I still get the burning sensation (22 now), but sometimes it can be really intense, REALLY intense. It feels like my throat is on fire, and it can give me bad headaches, I feel a wave of burning coming up my throat and around my jaw/temples (not necessarily burning around the jaws/temples, it just feels like pressure, like someone digging their fingers into my temples, nice!) and then it will go away (but I still have the burning sensation) and then it’ll get worse again.

    I pretty much know why this happens, because of the fizzy drinks, probably eating away at my throat!!!

    But I’m wondering if anyone had/has this? Did it cause any kind of damage?

    and what if it did/or didn't?
    just because someone else may or may not have had a problem doesn't mean the same for you.
    get yourself to a doctor and have it checked out!
    this is not a medical forum and peoples experiences will have nothing to do with you on this subject.
