Guinea pigs need to be moved into warm sheds if not done already, however sheds are only the 2nd best place, the best place for guinea pigs is in your home. They are actually not an outdoor pet as many think they are. They are ok in the summer outdoors but are not suited to living out of doors all the year round esp. in the inferior hutches that are available today in the shops.
If you must have them out side then invest in a hutch hugger or bubble wrap, ensure they have enough hay to bury in and are in a sheltered spot.

People often say to me, oh we had guinea pigs but we went outside during the winter and found them dead..no idea how that happened etc etc...well the reason can be many but one of the most commen ones is the cold..if this happened to a dog there would be uproar.

So keep your piggies warm this winter.

    Vet bed
    Snuggle safe heat pads
    Bubble wrap or hutch huggers
    Blue tarp
Will all help to keep piggies from the cold.
