IIRC there was something the other day about a draft of the new ROTR going up on www.transport.ie by tomorrow. Kep an eye out! It should be interesting reading - I bet someone a virtual pint that they will use similar braking distances to the last copy of the rules.

Reading has become such a troublesome menace these days, hasn't it? I look forward to the day when no-one reads anything anyone else has written, ever. Forums will be such fun!

Thanks for that Mike. (Oh no, I read his post. The horror!)

    Hi,

Just to clarify the copyright situation regarding the "Rules of the Road"

    Received following from the Dept
the Department of Transport has no objections to any request from a copyright perspective as long as the material is accurately reproduced and recognition of source i.e. the Department of Transport is given.

Regarding the Theory Test Book and/or the CD. These are copyright and may not be reproduced or published.

You can download the official version from RSA here

Save the rainforests ... don't print it all out unless you really have to.

That's the low-res version in which the illustrations have been overly compressed, making them a bit 'fuzzy roundthe edges'. There's a much better version available at http://www.rsa.ie/publication/publication/upload/017024-RoTR2nd.pdf

Please read the forum rules before posting here any further, dananos. You'll find links to several versions of the ROTR in there to ;)
