Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Draupnir banned for a week for his comments on <bleep>

This thread has more discussion about bannings than about Roy Keane!
Why dont we all calm down, mods included.

The banning of Draupnir is another ridiculous call, I think. Granted, his wording overstepped a strict interpretation of the charter, but his point was that the repetitive bickering between posters on the Keane/Saipan issue, which is going on for 3 years now, is - how should I phrase this - childish. His point was reasonably valid. For those that are arguing and disagreeing, they at some point should decide to "agree to disagree" and move on.

People will have different opinions on what happened in Saipan with Roy Keane, what happened in "that room", etc, why it was done, and even though people will be presented with the same facts, they will interpret them differently.

People will have different opinions as to why Roy left Man U by "mutual consent", and no doubt Alex Ferguson and Roy himself will have different views on the matter too, in time, as we will no doubt hear their views at some point.

For some people, Roy can do know wrong, for others, Roy can do no right, and they call him (note: I dont !) ... a <bleep> ... and a <bleep>.

Like others have suggested, perhaps this thread should have been locked many pages ago rather than dish out bannings to people who I'm sure have opinions on other aspects of football, apart Roy and his "issues".
