you would probably save money buying a dvd recorder and doing it yourself instead of giving it to rip-off merchant wo would cost you an arm and a leg

how many VHS?
it might be worth your money purchasing a card with TV-in + a DVD Recorder if you'll use it a few times..

quite a few. not really in the market for buying a new dvd recorder, only got a new player for christmas last year.
