Fixed IP cost for Eircom business package

Hi All,

Just wondering if anyone knew off-hand what the cost (if any) of a fixed public ip on eircom's 3Mb/256kB business package.

Smart offer a free one on their 70euro package so that got me thinking that eircom might as well. Anyone here know for sure?

I had looked on eircom.net before and i am going to ring them tomorrow. I just thought someone may have had known from personal experience.

AFAIK Eircoms business packages include a fixed ip.

I dont think it's availalable by default but i'll post back sometime this week when i find out, probably friday.

How to order a static IP address
To obtain a static IP address, you need to be on an eircom broadband business package. Call eircom net's Sales Department on 1800 203 204 to request a static IP address.

*Note: Static IP addresses are only assigned on request, they are not automatically provided with the order of a broadband package

From the Eircom support website.
It looks like the cost is included in the BB sub but you have to request it.
