brutix in .2? christ i played it way too safe. i never did any pvp, which annoyed me. but since i was in a new corp, they asked us to refrain from fighting players, since we didnt want any enemies.

wish i had ignored them though. would have loved some pvp.

(ps. he was going through .4 space, and was killed by a few assault frigs i think...in the gank spot, kubinen.)

my friend told me bout eve breaking another PCU record by having like 18,000 players in a single server at once. is it true? it makes me wanna play the game a lot more.:)

btw been randomly wandering through space. One of the 0.0 spaces I found three icey corpses. Can't seem to do anything with them though.

Yeah, there are object scattered around the place. I came across some of them along with a abandoned hulk (it wasn't green!) and some strange power generator near a belt in Villore. Throw backs to when eve was in full swing before the collapse I assume.

Kubinen though is a gankspot near enough to tennen/oursalert i took out some noob corp there with my dominix. They thought all i could fly was an iteron 4

whenever you get podded you leave a corpse, some complexes and POI have busted stations/ships with corpses.

nothing but fluff really.

Dont know about ships speeds (as I am Minmatar) but the Caldari Raven is by far the fanciest looking ship I have seen in my short time playing.

The Amarr apoc is the best looking most majestic ship in the game i badly want one however seeming as im a caldari i will need to train all the amarr ship skills which could take a while but the apoc is a great mining ship with the right skills its apparently possible to out mine a covetor with none of the draw back of a mining barge.

Minmitar have the fastest ships ... and dont disregard their projectile weapons either .... very low power usage - thay can have some really good tanking setups with all that spare juice ....

really thinking of getting back into eve - WOW, EQ and GW did/are doing my head in ...but the reason I left eve was the ratio of pirates/ássholes to ordinary peeps (about 50 to 1 it seems in low sec space) .... and added to that they brought in that damn 1 mwd rule (I did >150KM/s in my t2 inty once)

Caldari is by far the best space for getting blown up. Nearly everyone who wants to be a rat (pirate) becomes a rat. They even come at you in 1.0 space.

ugh... pirates hurt. Ran into a blockade last night... barely got out with my skin intact, structure was down to 3hp....lost the ship a few hours later

yeah, when my Brutix was down to about 3% hull i just sat outside a station with a cheap hull repairer on (was before i got a decent loadout) went off to get a drink, came back and it was fixed

i flew around in a thorax for 3 days that was on fire once.

I'll be changing my drone loadout in my covetor so I'll carry a few combat drones and stick a warp scrambler on my middle slot .... lets see those pesky ore thieves then .... (I only had one case of an ore thief stealing from me - dunno what he was thinking, mining barge with a industrial in the same corp right beside it .... all he got was 1 x pyro that was used to keep the jet can from popping )

My alt is training lev 5 large hybrid turrets ... then will train large hybrid specialisation and load up with t2 turrets ... WTFPWNing from 100km with ease

im training cruiser 5 atm my alt is about 5 days from covetor

once cruiser 5 is done ill be able to fly deimos and ishtar, i dont know what im gonna do with my drone loadout but i only have 900k in drones so its no big deal switching from dones to hybrids.

might switch over to a megathron too.

Didn't think the forums would be down aswell I'm training up science so i can use the tractor beam......just think tomorrow night when its back up and they do the release theres gonna be a ton of lag on the download so might be a good idea to get it form gamershell or gamespot or somthing like that

I was just reading the max capacity they can accomodate at the moment is 24k players concurrently, if the activity increases we may see the cluster fall over time and time again.. horrible to think they may have to split the servers..

Nope. No charges.

Your account just becomes deactivated at the end of your next billing cycle. To reactivate it, you just log into your account on the site and punch in your credit card details again and you're off paying the monthly/quarterly/yearly sub again.

The game just peaked 22k on new years day.. thats pretty impressive numbers. The game I have to say is dificult to get back into after been away for a large amount of time.. ive 18k sp.. but I'm struggling to pick up all the how to's on playing.

let them camp ... I've got a covert ops frig went back to my old stomping grounds in Curse but found I couldnt get into the station ... ah well ...

On the way I passed a blob (must have been 30 BS's - about 50 ships altogether), a gank squad (about 15 corpses floating near the gate - the pirates were a good 120kms away, I'd have loved to have been able to scan their loadouts) and a few half arsed pirates hanging around gates...

Its great freaking them out jumping in, they keep expecting someone to uncloak ... after jumping into a system I start moving and cloak immediately my ship will blip in overview but its completely unlockable ... even the fastest targeting needs more than a second

I've been playing for approx 8 months now and it still hasn't got old. Tonight my corp escorted a Serpentis fleet, including the first carrier in EVE, into NOL to tke on Bob!

Of course all their pilots rapidly clonejumped back and soon carrier and all we went down. There was about 120 ships duking it out at one point! There's no online game out there that beats EVE!
