Dont know about ships speeds (as I am Minmatar) but the Caldari Raven is by far the fanciest looking ship I have seen in my short time playing.

The Amarr apoc is the best looking most majestic ship in the game i badly want one however seeming as im a caldari i will need to train all the amarr ship skills which could take a while but the apoc is a great mining ship with the right skills its apparently possible to out mine a covetor with none of the draw back of a mining barge.

Minmitar have the fastest ships ... and dont disregard their projectile weapons either .... very low power usage - thay can have some really good tanking setups with all that spare juice ....

really thinking of getting back into eve - WOW, EQ and GW did/are doing my head in ...but the reason I left eve was the ratio of pirates/ássholes to ordinary peeps (about 50 to 1 it seems in low sec space) .... and added to that they brought in that damn 1 mwd rule (I did >150KM/s in my t2 inty once)

Caldari is by far the best space for getting blown up. Nearly everyone who wants to be a rat (pirate) becomes a rat. They even come at you in 1.0 space.

Hey, I'm quite new to all this, and was just wondering how you get a trial of the game? I heard from other boards that you can get a 14 day free trial, but after downloading and installing the EVE client from the site, I cant find how to get a free trial.

ugh... pirates hurt. Ran into a blockade last night... barely got out with my skin intact, structure was down to 3hp....lost the ship a few hours later

yeah, when my Brutix was down to about 3% hull i just sat outside a station with a cheap hull repairer on (was before i got a decent loadout) went off to get a drink, came back and it was fixed

i flew around in a thorax for 3 days that was on fire once.

I'll be changing my drone loadout in my covetor so I'll carry a few combat drones and stick a warp scrambler on my middle slot .... lets see those pesky ore thieves then .... (I only had one case of an ore thief stealing from me - dunno what he was thinking, mining barge with a industrial in the same corp right beside it .... all he got was 1 x pyro that was used to keep the jet can from popping )

My alt is training lev 5 large hybrid turrets ... then will train large hybrid specialisation and load up with t2 turrets ... WTFPWNing from 100km with ease

im training cruiser 5 atm my alt is about 5 days from covetor

once cruiser 5 is done ill be able to fly deimos and ishtar, i dont know what im gonna do with my drone loadout but i only have 900k in drones so its no big deal switching from dones to hybrids.

might switch over to a megathron too.

Didn't think the forums would be down aswell I'm training up science so i can use the tractor beam......just think tomorrow night when its back up and they do the release theres gonna be a ton of lag on the download so might be a good idea to get it form gamershell or gamespot or somthing like that

The lag is a pain right now, even the chat is laggin Although they are at 20,700 players now.

I was just reading the max capacity they can accomodate at the moment is 24k players concurrently, if the activity increases we may see the cluster fall over time and time again.. horrible to think they may have to split the servers..

Nope. No charges.

Your account just becomes deactivated at the end of your next billing cycle. To reactivate it, you just log into your account on the site and punch in your credit card details again and you're off paying the monthly/quarterly/yearly sub again.
