This has probably been asked a thousand times, but because of the lack of search ability I ask again.

I have Xbox, Eircom Broadband and 2 months free subscription. Laptop and PC, what else do I need?

I've pre-ordered an Xbox 360 and so hopefully I'll get my hands on one next weekend. To really get the most outta it, I'm sure you'd need to be subscribed to the Gold package of Xbox Live.

I've got a broadband connection, and a USB modem from UTV. Anyone know what kinda cables, etc I need to get my xbox connected?

You will need an ethernet cable to hook up to your XBox. I'm assuming that your USB modem can also hook up to your PC using an ethernet connection (eircoms, ESATs and NTLs do both USB and ethernet) so you should be sorted!!

My poxy UTV-Supplied Zyxel modem has no ethernet connection. I'm clueless when it comes to networks and all that malarkey....has anyone connected to xbox live with UTV as b/band provider?
