Afaik it would only work on 3UK's network, you'd be able to use it in Ireland with a 3UK Sim but you'd obviously pay roaming charges
You'd have to get 3UK to unlock it

I tried to get my 3 Ireland phone unlocked so i could use my 3 UK SIM in it and it costs a fortune!!!!! It is considered a foreign network hence the SIM's dont work in eachothers phones. Best to see if you can gewt it unlocked by a unlock shop unofficially!!!! If your phone is unlockable.
