What do you guys reckon this is worth:

    Apple iMac 24 inch screen.
2.8GHz core 2 duo extreme edition.
    4 GB Ram.
    500GB Hard drive.
VMWARE Fusion. 256 MB Radeon 2600 HD Graphics Card.

I was thinking about either sellin it or offering it as a swap for a 1 year old 17 inch Mac book pro.

    Thanks all.

How much is this worth? A tech at work valued it at 2000 but i think its a bit less than that. Its 2 weeks old, a dell m1330 with 3 years extended on site warranty, 3 years of norton and 3 years accidental damage.

    XPS M1330 CORE 2 DUO T9500 2.60GHz 800FSB
13.3" UltraSharpTM WLED WXGA display (1280x800, 300 nits) with TrueLifeTM and 0.3MP webcam
    128MB NVIDIA GeForce 8400M 65
    Biometric Fingerprint Reader
    UK/ROI Power Cord & 90W AC
    Memory Dual-Channel 2048MB (2x1024) 667MHz DDR2 SDRAM
    250GB Hard Drive 7200rpm
    8xDVD+/-RW Drive
    9 cell Li-Ion Battery
    Intel Next-Gen Wireless-N
    Bluetooth
English Windows Vista SP1 Ultimate including media
Anti Virus Software Norton Internet Security 2008 3 Years
3Yr XPS Premium Warranty Support - Priority Call In and Onsite Support
    3Yr Accidental Damage Support
** Accidental Damage Module (3 Year)

Closest one on dell website was 2116, as i said its only two weeks old but wondering how much it would be worth? Thanks!

Sinclair Spectrum (48k memory:eek:) with manual

I believe that everything has some value and if any of you have something what you considering as waste or bits and pieces not worth selling... Ill be happy to take that from you.
I mean anything from computer hardware even cables, cd rom everything.
If this is just laying around gathering dust - feel free to pm and Ill collect that from co Limerick, Tipp and Clare prefferably. If you have or know about some larger quantity I can drive to other locations too.;)

How much do you think I could get for my DELL Dimension 9150? 17'' screen, 1 GB RAM, 236GB remaining?

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 19,986 ✭✭✭✭mikemac

Computer devalue by 50% over a year at least. Some computers like an Apple hold their value better but not by much
You'll get 50% of what you paid for it.

    Remember, we're in a recession :P

230/250 at most to be honest.

Well you'd have to tell us a little more about it to be honest, you've given a completely vague description. What processor, what model monitor, etc

What kind of info is that? 239GB 'remaining'? You need:

    Processor info
    Hard Drive Size
    Machine model number
    Video card

    At the very least.

Hi, i'm want to sell my Apple iMac. I've just never got the hang of using it (i'm more a PC person!). It's nearly 2 years old and i still have the box and packaging (not that that would really make a difference). I've taken the details off the box, which are as follows:
    iMac 17" Widescreen/Model A1208/2.0GHz/1GB RAM/160GB HD/SD/BT/AP.
Can you help? Want to get myself a PC or basic laptop, as i only use it for surfing the net really.

Definitely not here, maybe on buy and sell? You'd get about 250 here maybe, if lucky.
