Case: Origen X15e - Surely €400+? But why on earth would you want rid of it?! :p
    CPU: AMD X4400+ - Assuming you're talking about the X2 (dual-core)? €40
    RAM: DDR 2GB G.Skill LE - Maybe €40-50?
GPU: 8800 Ultra - €60-75 - one of the few non-legacy parts here
Mobo: DFI Lanparty SLI-DR UT Expert - €40+, but as this is legacy gear the CPU+DDR+mobo might have to be sold as a job lot
Soundcard: XFI Fatal1ty - Maybe €50 unless you have the frontpanel too?
    PVR: PCI Haupauge 150
HD: 500GB - Depends on make, most likely under €30
OS: Win 7 x64 Home Prem - If this is an OEM/System Builder license it has to be sold with the mobo as its worthless without. Otherwise maybe €70?

Will be hard to sell though because of the battery so you may need to sell for cheaper than that, how much is a replacement battery for it?

wow,i was expecting like at least 400-500,my graphic card is still top notch like...

Edit:I just tested out my battery,(general browsing, music playing, brightness set to full),and i got 1hour 35mins out of it.Dunno why i thought it would only last 10mins,i just presumed it was like that since it was a year old.Id say if i let my brightness down a bit , i might get another 5 out of it

Who is the warranty with, Toshiba America?

Also if your battery has completely broke in just over a year it would point to there being some issues with your charger too maybe.

Ya it sucks but you can get a new core i3 laptop for about 500.

It "was" a global warranty, the warranty was a year though so its out of warranty.

The battery is fine,1.35hrs isnt bad.MY FAULT:i presumed the battery was bad, buts it grand

Although the system is ok,i thought the graphic card was the main highlight of the system,it plays all current games fine

Eh?! That's a proper (albeit last-gen) gaming laptop - in fact its the enhanced-portability version of those shiny big red curvy Qosmio 17" monsters that tend to turn up in colleges and at lans :p And given the combination of 15.4" and 9700GTS that's actually a fair amount of battery life! :o Although a spare battery would help! :p

I've seen them second-hand for well over €600 myself, although they're often modded. Last year that spec would go for €1400 new so I'd chance it at €600, maybe more if you're feeling very cheeky ;)

I dunno, I was knocking off 100 becasue the battery was suposedly dead and that would really hurt value. Even taking into consideration the 9700GTS i still think it wont fetch 600, I would have thought 450 max!! Im looking at 3gig ddr2, 1400x900 panel, 320gb hd and i just cant see anyone biting over 450??

Having a gaming-grade graphics card inside a 15.4" notebook (rather than a 17" breezeblock!) can boost the price disproportionately - cheapest I saw on a short jog through places was $777 second-hand.

Well it really depends on why you want to go for a Mac.

I use both Mac & PC for design work (Mac in the office, PC at home) and I don't favour either.

I do rather the openness of the PC platform though. Here's the thing, if everyone you know is on PC, go PC. Cause if you ever need a lend of software or someone to help you with something, it will work out easier.

Either way, probably a discussion for another thread!

I would estimate maybe 80-100 (give n take) for the LG and for the samsung bout 120-140 ish...
It is a tight market out there and also depends on condition on the monitors - how old, warranty etc etc Its a tough market out there.. I am recently after purchasing a 22" Acer HD ready LCD monitor - got it for €179 in Argos...Twas a good deal.

    Hope that helps..

Motherboard is a GIGABYTE GA-945GZM-S2 with 2 front and 4 rear USBs and all the other usual connections.

The CPU is an Intel Pentium E2140 at 1.6Ghz with 1MB L2 cache

There are 2*1 Gigs of DDR2 but they are different brands and speeds. One is 333Mhz other is 400Mhz

    Graphics are Integrated Intel 82945G

PSU is either 355 or 455 Watt. It says Max 355 on it and PEak 455(60s)?

2 250GB Hard Drives. One is a maxtor 7y250mo the other is a Hitachi (not sure of model).

There is also a Philips DVD/RW and and optional Philips CD/RW that bI installed out of boredom that was lying around.

All wrapped up in a silver Philips iQon case.

Wondering how much my powermac g5 desktop is worth. It's got Quad Core 2.5Ghz. Apple's fastest G5 machine. 9Gb Ram. Superdrive. 250Gb HDD, firewire 800 & 400 & USB 2.0. Mac OS 10.5. Also two 23" monitors. I was thinking of selling it for a laptop...wondering how much I should price it at!

    Cheers!

Just off the top of my head, you'd probably get around 700 including the monitors.

I could be a bit off, but I'd reckon thats a fair enough price (it is a few years old now).

g5 here sold for 600, with only one screen, dual core instead of quad core, and 4.5 gbs less ram! Don't know how much the extra screen, extra ram, and 2 cores are worth...more than a 100 id say though...Not sure about selling now!

IMO that's over priced. You'd get a new iMac for a little more, that would be way more powerful tbh.

Another thing, are your screens Apple Cinema displays? Or just some standard 23" LCD panels?

The fact is, a lot of people place WAY too high value on Mac's, simply because its a Mac. Sure, they do hold their value a bit better than a PC does, but a G5 is at least 4 years old now, and cannot be upgraded past OSX 10.5.

    **edit
    http://www.adverts.ie/236294/mac/apple-g5-dual-23-95mb-2-250-gb-drives-os-1058/

Realistic price for a Dual G5, 2x250GB HDD's, €450 (no monitor) - not sure how much ram though, advert is confusing!
