    Antique value anyone:-)
    Thanks

Give it away..... some people on adverts trying to sell similar at the 20-50 euro mark.
But just not really worth it.

Thanks dude, painful to hear that! The ssd and monitor cost 350 alone 6 months ago

yeah, SSD's current price new is about 80cent per gig, monitors have gotten very cheap now.

But second hand is almost always bout half or so of the new price /:

Thank, this is was what I was trying to confirm.
Will check done deal but any where to off load a working (but no OS/hd) PC rather than throwing in the recycle center.

How much would you sell it for?

Item: Mac Book - 2.4 Ghz 8G-Ram - with charger

    Model: A1342

    Year: Early 2011

Issue: It doesn't power up, I'm getting a new macbook pro I just want to sell it on as is.

Based on research i'd price it about 250euro, considering I have 8GB ram

If it doesn't power up :-
    1. How are you going to remove all your personal data?
    2. Who would buy a laptop they haven't booted and run memory and hard disk checks on?

Not true at all, it's easily worth 50-60 euro at least, and it's still remarkably upgradable as well despite its age.

Recently built a new system and am looking to sell my old one.

    MSI P6N Diamond
Intel Q6600 2.4 GHz (Never overclocked it but I know it has alot of overclocking potential)
MSI nVidia GTX 560Ti Twin Frozr II (still using this but I will use the money from this sale to upgrade)
Antec Nine Hundred Black gaming case
    Corsair HX620W modular
    4x1 GB Corsair XMS2-6400 CL5 5-5-5-18 800MHz
    Samsung SpinPoint 500GB SATA2 7200rpm 16MB
    NEC DVD-RW

I feel that the system has a few years quality gaming left in it, especially if the CPU is overclocked and maybe add in another second hand 560Ti as the mobo supports SLI.

I was thinking around the 300euro mark?

It might be the translation but they don't appear to be specifying the brands of Mobo, RAM, HDD or SSD?

Hey guys. Trading up to a big fat desktop which I was a little over zealous in ordering today, so now I'm looking to shift my laptop. Conveniently had the old email order.

Should've cost €1,200, I pad €950 (thanks to a Dell discount), and I'd like to think I'd get somewhere around the €650 to €700 mark for it now.

    EDIT:
Sold for €650. I'd still like a second opinion though. See how much I ripped my brother off by.

Funny enough you did rip him off somewhat :D

For E650 new he could have gotten a much faster laptop with more ram, much better video card, and a processor 2 generations newer. I'd say it's worth about 350ish personally.

Yeah, realistically, you're probably right. But sure you won't get if you don't ask. His fault for not even bargaining with me.

Hey guys, I have a (somewhat) old gaming laptop that I'm looking to replace for a desktop. It's almost 2 years old and I was wondering what price should I ask for it. It's in mint condition, it's a little discolored on the left side below keyboard from constantly keeping my palm there while playing =)

    The specifications are:

    Samsung RF-511

    Intel i5-2410m 2.3ghz
    8 GB RAM
    Gefore 540M 1GB
    750GB hdd
    Windows 7 Home 64bit

    Hi,

Put a post up on the pc building forum requesting pricing on some used parts.
Perhaps this is a better forum to ask

3-4 yr old budget laptop, 1st gen Core i3 (no on-chip graphics but HM55 IGP), scratched case, battery on the way out? 150 yoyos, if you're lucky. And only because of the 6 GB RAM and the SSD, otherwise it wouldn't be worth more than 100.

This is more of a question of how much is this worth for parts, but I have a Packard Bell TM99 laptop, 4gb ram, core i3 m370 processor, 300gb hard-drive, integrated graphics. The hinges on the screen snapped, the casing for the screen cracked, the battery is dead, the charger is dodgy. At the moment the entire screen is held together with a mixture of ductape and electrical tape. Would it be worth my time sticking it up on adverts for €150?

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 5,835 ✭✭✭Torqay

150 yoyos??? No way... the only components of use are the memory modules and the HDD (if not damaged, who knows given the state of the laptop).

Unless someone needs exactly this motherboard or keyboard...

6 years old? Hardly worth more than €100, if that...

Although some dreamers on Adverts asking up to 350 yoyos. Makes you wonder what they've been smoking. ;)

  • Registered Users Posts: 21,685 ✭✭✭✭Squidgy Black

HDD isn't damaged, still working perfectly. If that's all that's of use then I suppose it's probably more around €60 or so, and just hope someone needs it.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 5,835 ✭✭✭Torqay

    That's a more realistic estimate. ;)
