    Hi all,

I would like to buy a multimedia standalone hard disk player to use with my TV but am totally confused on which one of these to buy , can anyone help me decide please?

I have picked the following 2...

RAPSODY RSH-100 MULTIMEDIA PLAYER RECORDER DIVX DVD

    or

    Freecom Network MediaPlayer-3.5

The machine will be used for both xvid/divx playbak/mp3's and some photo viewing!

I have absolutely no use for the network functionality of the Freecom device but have read somewhere that the xvid playback on the rapsody may be a bit shoddy ?

Any feedback or opinions on either piece of hardware or their manufacturers are most welcome!
