Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Right so its not the major news like vodafone pulling out of united or keano walking out / sacked by united , its home grown stuff and hopefully someone else will find the post interesting as i did.

Dundalk will unveil John Gill as their new manager this evening at 5pm at a press conference at Oriel Park. There was players / maagers all shortlisted for the job .

To name a few. harry mccue , martin lawlor , liam o brien , ronnie whealan , curtis flemming to name a few all interviewed by teh dundalk board , but yet they decide to give the job to John gill

Dundalk is a big club stuck in the first division , and we have teh highest wage bill in teh first division and can beat most premier teams as well , which is noting to be proud of but teh point im making is the money is there to bring in dolan and keely why wasnt it done ?

What are peoples views here ? Lets be honest it can only improve the premier league if dundalk go back up , there is very few premier teams can get the support dundalk have and if we go back up command the advertsining and sponsorship deals they have as well.

Peoples views ? Barstool people post here

I'm a Dundalk fan, I've lived in carlow while at college so I haven't seen many games in the last few years. But I think they need a complete overhaul in the way the club is run. This should be brought down to grass roots level. I don't think the best young players in town are getting a chance to show how good they are. I think Dundalk FC should run trials and advertise them well then let everyone come and try and win a place in the youth teams. As the drogs do.....

I remember standing at the square with Dundalk players holding the league title aloft....hope we can bring those days back. I think Dundalk FC have the potential to get back into the premier division it's a shame that last season most of their home matches were played away...hopefully in the current season they can be more settled and properly challenge.....

    just my 2c's
