futurama in third (knew when to stop)

simpsons in fourth (enough already)

Family Guy - No cartoon has made me laugh out loud like this.
South Park - I've begun to appreciate the immaturity, and I love it.
Simpsons/Futurama - Simpsons is classic, Futurama is fresh.

1. Family Guy
2. Southpark
3. Futurama
4. Simpsons

It's close between Family Guy and Southpark though. You've gotta love Cartman and his ignorant, racist, biggot ways. But Peter's stupidity takes the lead.

1. South Park (continues to improve and push the boundaries even after 9years)
2. Simpsons (was the king of tv for a long time before it retooled as TheHomerSimpsonShow)
3. Futurama (4 quality seasons ... but that's still just 4 quality seasons)
4. Family Guy (definetly has its moments but generally a pointless, uninvolving mess)

Family guy is pure class, have been watching some of the new episodes recently and ther are class.

yes i'm giving credit to them for stopping. i don't know about the rest of you but season 4 of futurama was poor in comparrision to 1, 2 and 3. it's still a great show and i don't know whether they cancelled it because they knew it was bad or whatever but it seems that way to me.

It has gotta be the Simpsons, with the exception of the later seasons. In it's prime the Simpsons was just class. And i do not know about you guys but there is so many lines that come into my head from the Simpsons all the time.

And lets face it... without the simpsons none of the other shows would exist.

1. Family Guy - I can't think of any other programme that has made me laugh as hard
2. South Park - amongst the crudeness is some of the finest satire of TV. And the crudeness is great too.
3. Futurama - Simpson's style humour with a bit more edge. Shouldn't have been the one to be axed.
4. Simpons - Sorry, but you can't just pretend the last 7 seasons didn't happen. They've dragged down the show.

A lot of people give this arguement and I really don't see the merit of it. Without Star Trek: The Motion Picture, there would never have been Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan. That doesn't make the first one any less **** though

They didn't have a choice in whether it was cancelled, they didn't want to stop making Futurama. Fox cancelled it, they didn't.

So where is that credit coming from?
