    Hi There,

    Anybody a member of or know much about the jack of trumps racing club.??
    They advertise heavily in the irish indo.
    They have about 200 members,based in carrick on suir,its 1000 euro to join,they lease in the horses and after 12 months,your membership fee goes down out of the winning pool.
    They provide a tipping service,newsletters,emails and outings to trainers yards etc.
    A chap i know joined says the tips themselves are worth it..
    Am in two minds about this!!!!!

    Hi There
    Mixed review for Jack of Trumps - Depends what you want out of it.. They had a frustrating year getting horses balloted out so didn't get many runners They tend to target the festival meetings and usually pull off one or two coups. Some members get more involved than others so probably get more out of it. Good guy running it- knows his business. Good way to get started in horse ownership without the heavy costs! Hope that helps.

    yeah in two minds about it a grand a year seems to be alot,the tipping service seems to be as important as the leaseing of horses.
