Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Some jeering at ManCity for the 'minute' silence (the ref had to drop the idea after about 15 seconds.)

Why the hell has Wenger dropped Van Persie? He's been our best player over the past few games and I just don't understand Wenger's decision. It's not like he's 17 years old and needs to be protected. He's a top quality player in his early 20's and he needs to be playing.

Blackburn are all over us apparently.

Cisse is pants! Dreadful lack of ambition and energy from the forward, ppl should stop moaning about Crouch as he's been getting the knockdowns etc and giving Cisse oppotunitie to strike. Morientes and Luis Garcia must come on pretty quickly after the break if nothing happens.

Here's hoping Blackburn can come back from 2-0 down like we did against Chelski. Except this time we go on to win or get a draw.

    Riise just put Liverpool ahead.

    Spurs 2 up - Davids

3-0 to the Arse. Van Persie on for 10 minutes and scores an apparently very good goal. I rest my case.

Davids ran from his own half with the ball to score the 2nd...

Should have seen it from the away end, seemed to go on for ages...

Fantastic day, but not a great performance. Still, 3 points, wha'?

One poor Wigan fan sitting his own in their West Stand had to endure 45 minutes of "one billy no mates, there's only one billy no mates" from about 1000 Spurs fans. Then when one of his own felt sorry for him and went down to sit beside him he got "Billy's got a boyfriend, Billy's got a boyfriend"

    :D

    Subs: R Wright, P Kroldrup, M Bent, K Kilbane, L Osman

    Newcastle

Decent game so far mainly as both teams are fairly crap at the whole defending thing.

    Follow up to his...

Saw a steward go up to Billy at one stage just before half time, and Billy legged it up the steps. Thought he was gone for good, but he re-emerged shortly after and handed what looked like a piece of paper to the steward.

Found out later a Spurs fan had given a steward £10 and told him to give the cash to Billy, tell him to buy a pint for himself, and send the change back. Steward returned with £7.50!

Beautiful goal, still quite confident of a win.
I don't think West Ham can either keep up this pace for the entire game, or that their defense can hold out

Ah come on Ruud, that was an easy goal

offfs, come the **** on. Gwan schoesly

Two good saves by Carroll. Rooney had the ball in space about 30 yards out a few minutes ago and tried a tricky pass (not even forwards) to Van Nistelrooy, why not shoot??? He's the kind of player who always seems to hit the target from that kind of range.

    Weird...

A spat in the tunnel maybe? (Pardon the pun)

Gary Neville on for Silvestre in the 37th minute, I don't think there was an injury involved.

Read on Sky Sports that he gave out to the referee after the final whistle and got a second yellow. Nothing too exciting I don't think.

We are all over them in the second half, we should have scored the 3rd goal ages ago.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 20,617 ✭✭✭✭PHB

Praise god, we really should have won that 5-1, there were 3 clear chances that we should have scored without a doubt
