dunno if im allowed to post this up here (my apologies if im not). Below is a link to an irish rat forum for anyone with pet rats or anyone who is interested in them. it aims to help rat owners with any problems or illness that they may have with their pet rats and also brings together lots of ratty owners who can chat about rats or post up pictures etc. Many of the members have a good knowledge on rats and rat care and although there isnt many members at the moment we are hoping to get a lot more over the coming few years. the main aim in the end is to try and get together enough members to start a small irish rat fancy. Hopefully if we get enough members we can start to have shows etc. some members of the board are also in close contact with many of the best pet rat experts in the uk and possibly the world. These include rat diet and rat health experts and also vets and trainee vets. Whenever new information is found in regards to pet rats such as new treatments for illness or new advances in dietry/habitat/varieties etc then we can relate the information to the irish forum. Overall it's a very friendly forum and anyone who wants to join to talk/learn about pet rats is very welcome. The forum can be found at:

hopefully see some of you soon.
