Was watchin Sports tonight when they showed it but didnt have access to recoding device:mad:

McGuiness will probably win it with his little run and shimmy and unstobable blast from 40 yards in of the bar!

It probably should have been renamed the Pat McCourt goal of the season competition! The Mat le Tessie of the Eircom League. Fare dues to him getting young player of the year.

Missed it too, any of Houlihans goals against Pats in it? Little runt got 3 screamers in 3 games.

Yep the side foot curler from 25 yard made it in.
There was some peaches in the contest.

Weso's one at Inchicore was there alright (far less impressive than the massive one at Tolka). I'll upload them later if my brother hasn't taped over them.

McGuinness for Rovers vs Douglas Hall wins it for me.

The 1st one in Tolka when we were on top just before half time, what makes the m better is that Ryan was in goal and hes not a bad keeper.

imho i would have given him the award for the other goal where he danced by 4 players and then unleashed a curler with the outside of the right into the top corner. Sweet.

My top three would have been:

1/ Jason McGuinness
2/ Pat McCourt (the one where he caught it on the bounce, the one not vs. Bray)
3/ Paul McTiernan (it was probably the best goal of them all but the cameras position didn't help it)

Of course Wes-o's scorcher would have been No.1 had they bothered to show it!
