Do girls really get put off by over-interested guys? Serious question

rrrr's advice can be found at intellectual whores and that other pick-up artist web site and he could be just repeating the stuff on those sites and could well be a virgin. The problem is that even if he is only 12 he's still right. If you sleep in the same bed as a girl and you don't have sex, she's probably going to loose her respect for you. You'll think it was a nice display of good manners. She'll think you're a fool. Isn't it awful?

Just read a bit of this thread, but you sound like a nice guy with respect for this girl. Seems to me that she may be quite shy, if you only score when you're drinking. She might only have the confidence while drunk? Im like that. She'll trust you more for not making a move that first night imo.

May i suggest that you take things slow if she is shy. Maybe next time your out try not paying her much attension, this will make you seem less keen. It is true for some that we want what we cant have, so being less available might help you there.

If she hadnt said she liked you id assume she was just messing you around with not texting back, saying you were too keen etc. Id suggest holding off telling her you like her for now. Try the cinema thing again when you want to make a move- clubs dont count for alot of people.

so i was talking to a friend of mine who i'd never thought of talking to before. He's had quite a bit of dating, i.e. more than i have so we had a great conversation. He reckons she really hasn't made up her mind yet, and that if i come on too much now it'll mess everything up, ......i'll put more in later, computer room is closing

RRRRR is a complete sham of a person. Whatever you do, do not listen to him. If you want to get shags in under 7 hours, go into copper face jacks or other kips around Dublin or even on a J1(get loads on one of those), I tend to prefer to stick with my crew and hence i don't get or want shags in 7 hours. I go for classy women much like myself, and no I don't need sex the way this sham of a person seems to.

Sarcasm aside, it's a good buzz while you're doing it - ya just gotta understand that in_a_twist (no_more!) is looking for something deeper than that. He's really into this girl and wants to spend a lot of time with her - get to know her, all that hollywood stuff. So, that's the advice he's looking for and I think that's why he asked you to hang back from this thread a little while ago.
