Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

knoppix dvd

    im just after downloading KNOPPIX_V4.0.2DVD-2005-09-23-EN.iso and i burnt it to dvd using nero
    the disc works perfect in windows, but it wont boot when i start my pc :(
    my dvd drive is set as the first boot device and other boot discs boot ok
    any ideas on where i might have gone wrong would be great

    I don't use Nero, but chances are you burned a data disk containing the .iso file. What you needed to do was burn a disk image.

    If you look at the disk in Explorer you should see lots of files and folders, if all you see is the .iso file then that's your problem.

    Scrap the cap!

    otherwise, if you haven't made that mistake: try booting from the DVD on another machine that you know can boot from DVD if possible..

    Check whether your computer/drive can boot from DVD:)
    (If not: Check for BIOS updates, and firmware upgrades.. )
