    Hi Folks,

    We're thinking of buying a Toyota Corolla Verso. Anyone have any opinions on this car?

    I've heard the 1.6 version is sluggish? However, my wife has yet to pass her test and the 1.8 is only available in automatic - so that's not an option. Is the 1.6 model excessively sluggish?

    Anything I should look out for in a used model?

    I doubt very much its sluggish,i mean the Corolla 1.4 vvti is exceptionally quick for a 1.4 and a lot quicker than most 1.4 models like focus,golf etc
    I havent driven the corolla vesro but have driven the corolla and avensis.
