Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Is it possible to watch divx/xvid files on an xbox? If so can anyone tell me what I need to do to set it up?

    OK - let's assume for a minute that I haven't a clue about XBoxes ;) - cos I don't - don't even have one - this request is for my brother and he ain't technical.

    What type of modding are we talking about here? Hardward/software?

    More suited to the Console Modding forum but i installed a Krayzie's softmod a few months back.

    Installed XBMC - can now any type of audio or video!

    Short answer to your question - as far as i know, any mod will do!

    well it is the truth, if you can find another way of getting a xbox to play divx and xvid files without converting them or modding a xbox I'd like to you see you try :v:

    Yeah that would probably be me.

    Krayzie's softmod sounds like a sotware mod.

    Time to google and find out!

    Thanks guys. I'll have a read of xbox-scene and see what's involved. All I needed was a starting point :). Soft-mod is what I want - I don't think my bro will want to hard-mod it just to watch movies.
