    If you have no default gateway on the router.....then how can you access something that is not there.
    If default gateway is coming back blank, then its a faulty router, no question

    even if the router is working fine on a different pc... ?

    The whole idea in using a router is to be able to connect 2 computers at the 1 time. If your not sure then ring the manufac of the router and ask them or you can contact your ISP for advice.

    I believe the router to be faulty, unless you know someone with a router you can borrow and try that and see what happens.
