Hey guys, whats the story with the comsoc this year?
Have you planned anything yet?
has there been any progress with the website?
I know I'm not around this year to try kick your asses but I'd still like to see stuff happening! If you need anything planned or done, I've plenty of free time so I can be your unofficial helper! But really the ball has to get rolling sometime!!!

I did 1st year electronics last year and we did HTML and javascript for the entire year. Apparently too many people were failing C in first year so they decided to do something easier to help them get to grips with programming.

We've started C now in second year but were not doing much of it, not even functions which is kinda stupid imo. Ah well.

Ya their was 126 people in first year when I started, by second year it had gone down to about 50 and now in final year its at about 12.
But I think it was more the maths that made people drop out in first year.

But I think c was great in first year my favorite subject.

They are making this course to easy, soon it will be like the electronics course on the other side of town. A trained monkey could do it:D

But somehow i get the feeling that this thread is slowly going off topic!

But i really want this one to be all about the comsoc (or whats left of it)
