Need Help with Paddy Casey songs!!

Hey all, Does anyone out there know what kind of tuning Paddy Casey uses for most of his songs? All the tabs on the net just say put a capo on 3rd and play standard C-G-D etc but their all wrong if you try playing along to the album. I've tried DADGAD and Drop D but their not the right tuning! Can anyone help me out??
