landlord and work refernces help

    i'm moving house and was asked for a landlord and work refernce before i can move in.

    what needs to be included in each of these?

    For the landlord its essentially that you paid the rent / bills on time and that there are no outstanding issues / you didn't thrash the place / you were a good tenant.

    For work, the was some reassurane that you have a solid employment record. "danniemcq has worked here since _____date______ and is employed as a _________ on a salary of eur__________"

    Eh Victor? Giving your salary details to the landlord , not necessary. God knows I wouldn't. All that is really required is evidence of a job.
